A watan Oktoban 2008, Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo tare da Chubu Electric Power da Jami'ar Kagoshima sun haɗa kai wajen ƙirƙirar na'urorin ƙarfe na Cu na farko da aka yi amfani da su ta amfani da waya mai ɗaukar nauyi.
