Graphite sheet and its application

Graphite sheet

38.5

Synthetic graphite sheet, also known as artificial graphite sheet, is a new type of thermal interface material made of polyimide.
It adopts advanced carbonization, graphitization and calendering process to produce a thermally conductive film with unique
lattice orientation through high-temperature sintering at 3000 °C.

With the upgrading of electronic products, the growing number of mini, highly integrated and high-performance electronic devices,
resulting in a large number of heat dissipation management needs.

Features of synthetic graphite sheet:

*Excellent thermal conductivity
*Lightweight
*Flexible and easy to be cut. (withstands repeated bending)
*Low thermal resistance
*Low heat resistance with flexible Graphite sheet
*Low repulsion and easy to keep the product’s shape after attaching

Application of synthetic graphite sheet:

Thermal interface materials are designed for use in applications requiring reliable performance, low contact resistance, long life, low maintenance and high thermal conductivity. The flexible graphite materials are die-cut to ensure exact fit and reduce module-to-module variation during assembly. The compressibility of the material improves surface contact, reducing thermal impedance and can compensate up to 125μ of flatness variation between the contact surfaces while the high in-plane thermal conductivity reduces hot spots. With the rise of new energy vehicles, graphene sheet is widely used in aluminum ion battery.
