Mesophase coating (that is, interface technology) is the key technology in the preparation process, the preparation of mesophase coating methods include chemical vapor osmosis (CVI), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), sol-sol method (Sol-gcl), polymer impregnation cracking method (PLP), the most suitable for the preparation of silicon carbide matrix composites are CVI method and PIP method.

Interfacial coating materials include pyrolytic carbon, boron nitride and boron carbide, among which boron carbide as a kind of oxidation resistance interfacial coating has been paid more and more attention. SiC-CMC, which is usually used in oxidation conditions for a long time, also needs to undergo oxidation resistance treatment, that is, a layer of dense silicon carbide with a thickness of about 100μm is deposited on the surface of the product by CVD process to improve its high-temperature oxidation resistance.
